In InduSoft Web Studio, there are many ways to facilitate communication between PLCs of various manufacturers. In this webinar, we will explore how to communicate specifically to Omron PLCs using the SYSMAC Gateway. In this webinar, we will discuss configuration of Omron SYSMAC Gateway middleware software to provide communications between InduSoft Web Studio and Omron PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and MACs (Machine Automation Controllers). Both the Omron FINS (Factory Intelligent Network Services) and EtherNet/IP protocols will be discussed, and connections will be made to CP1, CJ2, CS1, and NJ hardware platforms. The built in network diagnostic tools for both FINS and EtherNet/IP will be demonstrated to aid the programmer in the connection process.
