Video: Robot Vision Grid Calibration - FANUC Robotics iRVision

Robot Grid Calibration - http://www.fanucrobotics.com Robot Grid Calibration is useful for a fixed mount camera, programmed with robotic vision, that is going to have a large field of view. A calibration grid the size of the camera's field of view is not required. The robot's motion, combined with the camera's field of view, will be used in coordination with Robot Grid Calibration to calibrate the robotic vision camera. First, a target is mounted onto the robot end-of-arm tooling while the robot and the target are positioned underneath the camera. Using the teach pendant program, the robot and the target are moved under the camera while pictures of the target are taken. This is done in order to locate the Tool Center Point (TCP). During the TCP location process, the current status of the camera's work can be seen on the robot pendant. Once the robot knows where the target is in space, it will move the target throughout the camera's field of view to calibrate the camera.
