This time-lapse video shows how FANUC America Authorized Integrator Compass Automation programs FANUC robots for their customer’s machines. Compass Automation starts with offline programming using FANUC ROBOGUIDE. FANUC America designed ROBOGUIDE offline programming in order to decrease overall project time. Compass Automation can upload the robot program as soon as the machine is built and perform touch ups, if necessary, before running off and shipping the machine. Compass then ensures that the program works and that cycle times are met.
Compass' programmers then take it to the real world, touching up points to finish the programming. Finally, Compass is able to runoff the robot and the system.
