Robotic Industry 4.0 Automation System
This robotic Industry 4.0 automation system brought production of Rockwell Automation's 100C Contactors back to the United States from overseas. Many emerging technologies are leveraged in this system, such as Real-time Digital Twin, IoT enabled devices and edge computing devices that collect data, provide current status and predictive analytics via the cloud.
Intelligent linear motor transport systems were used for real-time line balancing, routing, and process status feedback. Additionally, production controls and network enabled appliances deliver real-time diagnostics, monitoring and visualization.
Augmented reality provides for process monitoring, trouble shooting, machine reference materials and employee training. All of these technologies come together to serve a dual function; a full-scale automated state of the art production system as well as a showcase line for Rockwell Automation’s premier products. The system validates their products at their world HQ in an actual production environment.
